As I was exploring different philosophies, I came across Stoicism, which caught my attention with its emphasis on self-control and resilience in the face of adversity. I realized that often in life, things happen that are out of our control and it is easy to be overwhelmed by them. However, the Stoics believed that by understanding the nature of the universe and our place within it, we can learn to accept whatever happens and focus on what is within our control. This resonated with me as I realized that how we react to things that happen to us is what truly matters. I was intrigued to learn more about this philosophy and how it can be applied to my own life.

Stoicism is a philosophy that has been around for centuries, but it is still relevant today. The Stoic philosophers have left a wealth of wisdom and practical advice that can be applied to our modern lives. Another famous Stoic, Epictetus, wrote: “It is not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters.” This quote emphasizes the importance of resilience in the face of adversity.
